This section is a repository of  vignettes that fill in the detailed accounts of events, people, and places that collectively comprise the history of our church.

Currently it contains: (Click on the highlighted link to view.)
A section on the history of the Gibsonville Methodist Episcopal Church that was carefully preserved for us in about 1924.
A section on the history of the Gibsonville Methodist Protestant Church that was also written in about 1924.
"A New Sanctuary" is the foreword of a booklet published just before the new Sanctuary was completed in 1962, describing the events leading to the construction of a new Education Building and Sanctuary.
Lindsay Memoirs -- J. A. Lindsey served the Gibsonville Methodist Church from 1947 through 1951. After his retirement, Dr. Lindsey wrote his memoirs that spanned his lifetime. The portion of the memoir dedicated to his time and experience at Gibsonville is reproduced here.
