Food Drive...3rd Sunday of Every Month! Guilford County is one of the most food insecure counties in the country. We are stepping in to help fill the gap. Your donations will be distributed between Gibsonville Baptist Church Food Pantry and the bags of food that go home with children in need at Gibsonville elementary school. Remember to include non-perishables that are high in protein. Bring items and place them in the designated bins.
PB&J Ministry We have had an awesome time going out on Wednesday mornings. I have personally been blessed to be able to talk to children and parents and some of the aging community in Gibsonville. Although it has been hot we have managed to have an amazing and fun filled time doing this. It is a ministry that reaches many and the blessing spread further than a jar of peanut butter.
- Celebrating Christmas Through Song Deck the halls, trim the tree, hang the lights, bake the cookies, read “The Night Before Christmas” and SING! Christmas is always the most joyous time of the year to sing, even silly songs about flying reindeer, pumpkin pie, Santa getting stuck in the chimney, six geese -a-laying and all things Christmas in between. We’ll begin our evening with some of the warm and laughter-filled songs of the season as we make our way to thinking about the messy manger and how Jesus humbled himself to become one of us.
Don’t overlook this opportunity to invite someone who has perhaps not been introduced to the Christ child. He deserves nothing less than our time together to celebrate and think on his plan to bring salvation and a lifetime of hope to the world. A love offering will be collected and a Moravian love feast will be shared.

- DINNER GROUPS… As we grow in worship attendance and with new members, it is even more important that we find small groups in which to fellowship and study. Dinner groups of 6-8 people will help us fellowship and get to know each other. Dinner groups will be formed by the middle of September so groups can have dinner together 3-4 times before the end of the year. **Important Notes: If your group decides to eat dinner at a restaurant, you are encouraged to return to the church or to one of your homes for dessert and a quieter time of conversation. Single people are encouraged to sign up with another single person so you will not be a solo single in a group. If we have enough to sign up, we could have a singles Dinner Group.
- Blessing of the Animals Sunday, November 6, 2:00pm Front Lawn of the Church BRING YOUR PET OF ALL SIZES AND SPECIES to the church lawn for a time of prayer and blessing. SPREAD THE WORD to your family and friends who have furry friends! When we bless the animals by name we are agreeing with God that they were created “good” and have a special place in their human home.
