For all children's or youth activities sponsored by the church, we require that the parent(s) or legal guardian(s) fill out, sign and submit the Medical Permission and Liability Release Form and an Information and Medical Release Form for each child or youth. You may print both forms on your computer (click here), fill them out, and mail it to or drop them by the church office.

Mission Statement

The Gibsonville United Methodist Youth Ministry is committed to the reality that young people are an important and integral part of our church community. The youth program seeks to foster maturing in faith of the youth of our church and the surrounding community.

We affirm the gifts of our youth and we foster opportunities for young people to share their gifts with the larger community. The spiritual and social needs of the youth are to be met with the committed leadership, guidance and support of our church adults. The adults and youth of our church are therefore provided with the opportunity to grow together in Christian faith.

Through a variety of programs, events and outreach, we seek to draw young people into responsible participation in the life, work and mission of the church community.

We believe this ministry is to, with, by, and for young people and is a blessing for the entire community.

Orange Float

Check out the United Methodist youth website Orange Float, sponsored by the United Methodist Church.  It's a place where you can share your ideas with and ask questions of other young Methodists. Their "about" page proclaims "You're probably wondering who we are and what we're all about. We're the "Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors" people. We're not all the same, and we don't always agree, but we are all united in our love for God, each other, and the world." Click here and I'll take you there.
