Please come join us for “Coffee Time” in the Church Fellowship Hall! We will meet every Wednesday at 10:00 am. All adults are invited to come. Coffee and light snacks will be provided, all you need to bring is yourself (and a friend if you like!). Since this is a new opportunity for fellowship, after September the day and time to meet may change based on the interests of the group. Please check future Newsletters and the Bulletins for updates. For more information please contact Teresa Merner at 336-446-2090.
Children and Youth Update:
We are in the continuing phases of consultation with a firm named Ministry Architects. Their specialty is in helping churches to aggressively pursue their own strengths for ministry in their own settings. MA will help us build a sustainable ministry with children and youth; the focus is with both short-term and long-term goals in mind. They will consult with people in the church, stay with us for a period of months to hold us accountable for the plan we develop, and even offer staff recruitment and follow-up coaching for leaders and staff. Watch for more info to come! And pray about our children and youth ministries! And also remember to thank God for what Ryan Waide and Aaron Menconi have done with and for our children and youth programs.
