We provide snacks to Gibsonville Elementary School each month, we partner with classrooms at Gibsonville Elementary School, we offer comfort and repast meals to our bereaved members' families, we have a bake sale twice a year to help raise funds and much more!
Methodist Men meet for a meal and great fellowship twice a month.
Breakfast: 1st Saturdays at 9:00am in the church fellowship hall.
Dinner: 3rd Tuesdays at 6:30pm at a local restaurant.
Breakfast collections help support the shut-in ministry of providing DVDs of the Sunday worship and players when they are needed. Other money raising events include Annuals Church/Community BBQ Chicken Dinner held 3rd Saturday of October, Pancake Dinners, etc. which raise funds for projects, Neighbor Helping Neighbor supplies, church van fund and building fund. Those who are willing volunteer to take turns cooking and leading devotions.
The Men's Group also assists the Worship, Fellowship and Music areas in set up and or take down/storage as requested/needed.
Music is an important ministry at the Gibsonville United Methodist Church. It supports and complements the regular church service, and gives our members yet another outlet for praise and worship. Under the planning and guidance of Greyson Clifton and Lynn Woodruff, the Music Ministry comprises the Chancel Choir, the Praise Team including youth, and the Hand Bell Choir.
Members include older adults, young adults, and teens.
