Tween Youth Group
The GUMC Tween Youth Group is for students in 5th through 8th grade and meets Sundays from 4 to 5:15 p.m. on the lower level of the church unless otherwise noted. The group focuses on building relationships with each other and with God while answering the spiritual questions children this age have. Transportation is available by contacting Director of Children and Youth Michelle Rash at 336-212-3424.

A snack supper will be provided at the end of tweens each week. We are excited to have this opportunity to share a meal with them each week.
Trip to Elon Men’s Basketball on January 31
On Saturday, January 31, the tween group will be attending the Elon University men’s basketball game. We will be leaving the church at 6:30 p.m. for the game, which starts at 7, and expect to return to the church around 9:15 p.m. The church will pay for the game tickets and provide each tween with some money for food. Please let Michelle Rash know by Saturday, Jan. 24 if your youth will be attending so we can purchase tickets.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, we offer two separate tween Sunday School classes, one for 5thand 6th graders and one for 7th and 8th graders. Both use the Bible Studies for Life curriculum and meet on the lower level of the church.
