Our Mission:
We uplift, serve, and connect with God’s children and youth to instill a lifetime of faith and nurture Christian relationships. ​

The GUMC Tween Youth Group is for students in 5th through 8th grade and meets Sundays from 4 to 5:15 p.m. on the lower level of the church unless otherwise noted. The group focuses on building relationships with each other and with God while answering the spiritual questions children this age have. Transportation is available by contacting Director of Children and Youth Michelle Rash at 336-212-3424.

April 12 — Bullying and self-care, a mental health discussion presented by UNCG’s Center for Youth, Family and Community Partnerships
April 19 — Service Sunday (wth 7th & 8th grade, meeting until 6 p.m.)
April 26 — Unlikely Heros: Gideon
7th and 8th grades
April 5 - No Tweens

A snack supper will be provided at the end of tweens each week. We are excited to have this opportunity to share a meal with them each week.
On the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, we offer two separate tween Sunday School classes, one for 5thand 6th graders and one for 7th and 8th graders. Both use the Bible Studies for Life curriculum and meet on the lower level of the church.
